• Bronzes: the ancient bronze hall is big and well lit.

A realistic museum day

1. 09:00: enter on your booked slot and go straight to the ancient-art galleries before they become crowded.
2. 10:30–11:30: see the objects you came for, then take a coffee or restroom break rather than trying to cover every room.
3. 11:30–13:00: visit the Republican-era street and one additional collection that genuinely interests you; lunch nearby.
4. Afternoon: pair it with the Presidential Palace or a slow walk at Xuanwu Lake. Do not try to add Zhongshan Mountain on the same day.
